A San Francisco native, Ted Jocson draws on the energy, diversity, and creativity of his multidimensional hometown for inspiration in his work. While at the San Francisco Academy of Art where he studied Fine Art and Photography, he realized how influential his environment was to his work. In the process of shooting for local news groups he was able to develop his photojournalistic style.  He constantly seeks to produce images that may challenge or confirm our paradigms, invoke emotion, and/or just artfully capture the moment.  His style ranges from traditional to provocative. While his style is dynamic, his work reflects solid design principles and camera techniques.  He uses both traditional film and digital equipment and maintains his professional studio/darkroom in San Francisco.

Since 1994 Ted Jocson's clientele has varied to include performance artists, fashion designers, non-profits, wedding parties, and large corporations.
